Download the ETL solution file from here.

Unzip it.

Open Visual Studio Data Tools.

Menu → File → Open Project/Solution.

Open the file Load Data Mart.sln

Note: Ignore the security warning.

In Solution Explorer, double click on the package. Your screen should look like this.

For security reasons, you have to change the Connection Parameters.

In Solution Explorer, Connection Manager, edit the DATAMART connection parameter.

• Servername: NO RDB
• User: NO SID
• Password: NO PAS
• Database: NO SID_DATAMART

In Solution Explorer, Connection Manager, edit the DATASTORE connection parameter.

• Servername: ods.hdm-server.eu
• User: NO ODS
• Password: NO ODS
• Database: AdventureBikes_ODS_NO GID

Because the authentication was redefined, you need to set the status of the connections from offline to online.

• in the Menu → SSIS → toggle “Work offline” to “Work online”.

Now, run the package with

Save your project and close Visual Studio.
